In Japan. (You know who you are.)

So he was sitting around in his hotel room, waiting for a few of his friends to drop in. He normally wouldn't even wait, but if you didn't know he knows Japan. No, seriously. Ted took the time to come out here to wrestle, so he can speak a little of the language, read it better than most, knows the safe places to eat. Something of a tour guide, if he likes you.

That's a big "if".

Anyway, everything is in walking distance, and if you asked him, you better get your legs tired. Everybody is going to be on one or two buses, going everywhere.

Every city.

Every town.

Every stop.

Every minute.

Together.

So you'd be wise to group up and found some close friends. He has his. Now if only if their asses could ever be on time to basic things, they could get something done.

Okay, first of all, shut up. We're just hanging out anyway.

Cody usually tried to organize these sort of things, but it was basically nature when you leave the country. Go with the guys you really don't mind being around. Cody was more of a people person. Hell, he'd babysit if you asked him. Ted was quite the opposite. Maybe Randy was an in-between, who knows. Groups were important though, they kept you sane. Doing an international tour alone was probably suicidal. Like, you'd want to kill yourself.

All Cody had done today was smile and wave at people. Kids speaking Japanese. Women speaking Japanese. The screen's audio? Japanese. He couldn't take it. Other languages were above is attention span, which already didn't support much.

He barged on in Ted's room, and saw the scowl. "What are you already mad about?"

"You, motherfucker. Just you." He griped, with a slight smirk. And yes, you read it right. He was just that sort of guy.

"Where the other idiot, this is taking to long. Keep waiting her and Creative is going to make us take some bullshit tour of the city."

It's not like wherever this company goes, the Superstars don't stand out like sore thumbs - look at them. Taller than average, more built than average, mostly damned good-looking people, and they tend to travel in packs. Some of those packs disperse into smaller groups, and Randy was known for that. Ted and Cody comprised his group. Yeah, like you used to see on your television. Were any of these three -that- good of actors, that if they weren't that close, they could've pulled off Legacy?

Well, you can answer that for yourself, if you saw Ted in The Marine 2, or that District 9 where Cody guest-starred, or someone else in That's What I Am. The answer is clearly no, lol.

Previous tours of Japan, these guys tore shit up. But Randy's just coming back off Suspension, for some pretty serious shit. Would it be unusual to think he's playing it a little safer?

Actually, yeah, it would be unusual, because during past suspensions, he's come back and been cocky as ever. But this time around, shit got real. He knows he's got 9 toes in his WWE grave if he fucks up just once more.

And he also knows that it would only be for a year...yes, they can rehire the same person after firing for Strike 3 - but he's not a kid anymore. A year without a job would be pretty traumatic, financially, and he knows that there would probably be a clause that he wouldn't be allowed to work for that year if he wanted to be rehired. That means no TNA, no Legend Cons, not even appearing in your local high school gym with an indy show. It would be a year of no money coming in.

So yeah. He's being careful.

Ted and Cody both texted him earlier and he hadn't responded. Why? Because he didn't want to fuck up their time in Japan. While Ted was responsible for a kid back at home, Ted also knew how to have a good time while on the road. Cody deserved a good time as well, especially since he got fucked out of being Mr. Money In The Bank this year, and seemingly out of the Title Hunt since Creative has him chasing Mexicans in masks.*

He did send a text out to both of them, though, and it's likely their phones will go off at the same time, since they have the same carrier and shit.

Jet lag is fucking me up. Count me out for tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

Now, they know Randy well enough. If he changes his mind and decides to try and catch up with them, he will, but for now, he's going to give up his spot in the pack to someone else to run with his boys.

(*Until our Creative says otherwise, I'm gonna run with that if that's okay.)

(Going to just wrap this up then. If anything, it's a good example thread though, right?)

Cody and Ted didn't bother to find a replacement, just decided to go around as a duo. It was odd enough heading Ted utter random Japanese phrases, and they had so many old stories being brought up from Legacy time that any outsider wouldn't of understood anyway.

They'd parted ways, for an assortment of reasons. The most obvious being Ted's injuries, and Cody's lack of time to do much besides send a few text messages here or there. This did catch them up however, and they were already planning to at least start working out on the same regimen once they were back in the states.

Of course, Cody's family issues would rise then as well, but it was nothing he couldn't handle.

Chalk this one up was normal, and normal isn't exactly a usual. Enjoy it while it last, people.
